We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SEO Assistant with expertise in local search optimization to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on leveraging Localo and other SEO tools to achieve measurable improvements in local SEO performance, specifically related to Google Business Profile (GBP). With guidance from Localo, you will be responsible for implementing strategies that enhance visibility in local search, drive organic traffic, and increase conversions, all while tracking and improving performance against clearly defined KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Local SEO Strategy Development:
- Design and execute data-driven local SEO strategies using Localo to optimize for local search engine visibility and ensure our business ranks higher in local search results.
- Research and identify relevant local keywords and search terms to target across all platforms.
Localo Platform Optimization:
- Utilize Localo to manage, audit, and optimize local listings, ensuring accuracy and completeness across Google Business Profiles (GBP) and other relevant platforms.
- Leverage Localo’s tools to identify opportunities for improvement in location-specific SEO performance.
- Track and implement suggestions provided by Localo to improve map pack rankings.
KPI Management & Reporting:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
- Improved rankings in Google Map Pack and organic local search.
- Increased click-through rates (CTR) from local search results.
- Enhanced local engagement metrics (calls and website visits).
- Growth in local organic traffic and lead generation.
- Create weekly and monthly performance reports, showing progress towards KPIs, actionable insights, and next steps.
Content Optimization for Local SEO:
- Generate engaging and localized content, such as blogs, FAQs, or service pages, to target community-specific needs.
Google Business Profile Management:
- Optimize and maintain Google Business Profiles, ensuring consistent updates with posts, photos, reviews, and accurate business information.
- On occasion, respond to customer reviews promptly, driving improved online reputation.
Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct regular analysis of competitor local SEO strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a focus on local SEO (3+ years preferred).
- Hands-on experience using Localo or similar local SEO tools to manage campaigns and optimize local listings.
- Strong understanding of Google Business Profile optimization and local ranking factors.
- Proficiency in tools like Localo, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or BrightLocal.
- Ability to interpret data and analytics to identify trends, insights, and actionable strategies.
- Strong communication skills to present complex data in an understandable way.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities
