Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an

organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation

(CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE).

Major course work in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer

Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information

Systems, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics,

or a related field preferred. Each year of experience as described

below in excess of the required three years may be substituted for

thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university

on a year-for-year basis.

• Three years full-time, wage-earning data analysis, research,

data gathering, or report writing experience.

• One year full-time, wage-earning experience in the use of Microsoft

Office Suite or equivalent to include word processing, spreadsheet,

database, or presentation software programs.

• Criminal justice data collection and analysis experience preferred.
• Experience in the use of Statistical Package for Social Sciences

(SPSS), Stata, or R software preferred.

• The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will

be $5,425.35.**
