Job Description
The role of the Government Relations and Strategy Advisor is to coordinate strategic, business planning and performance reporting activities and ensure the RTA is compliant with whole-of-government reporting requirements, policies and standards.
To Be Successful You Will Need
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that is clear, concise and appropriate for the situation while promoting trust, respect and integrity
- A high level of judgement and integrity in handling urgent and sensitive information and intergovernmental and ministerial requests
- The ability to facilitate organisational planning and reporting processes and systems to promote an efficient and collaborative corporate reporting environment
- The ability to drive and coordinate environmental scanning to ensure the Board and Executive Leadership Team are informed of emerging risks, trends, data or parliamentary and stakeholder developments that may impact the Queensland residential rental sector
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships externally and internally to meet both RTA objectives and whole-of-government reporting requirements.
