We are looking for an experienced Yard hand who are able to work in the day shift between the hours of 7:30am – 4pm (flexibility is required to work outside these hours when needed)

This is a Mon – Fri role with occasional Saturday and OT will be provided if applicable.

About The Role

• Sort through green waste
• Working through sort cabins and picking waste and contaminated materials
• General labouring duties outside at the yard
• Always adhere to health & safety procedures and policies at all times and report any near misses and fault findings
• Excellent initiative, punctuality, and reliability to work
• A keen eye for detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team and on your own

About You

• Previous relevant experience in the Manufacturing, Warehousing or Waste Management industry or equivalent
• Previous experience being an all-rounder doing general labouring duties
• MUST be comfortable working with waste materials and the smell of waste
• Previous experience as a front end loader would be highly desirable but not mandatory
• Yellow card, VOC certifications or Front end loader ticket would be highly desirable but not mandatory
• Skilled and safe use of relevant plant and equipment required to effectively and efficiently to complete required tasks
• Undertakes other duties as directed
• Works with minimal supervision
