 Test Manager with Core Banking experience

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in core banking systems. The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple banking platforms. Experience in test automation is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and frameworks for core banking projects.

  • Manage end-to-end test activities, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring efficient test execution and defect management.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and third-party vendors to define and validate test requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with banking standards, regulatory requirements, and best testing practices.

  • Oversee test automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.

Key Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4+ years in a Test Manager role.

  • Strong domain knowledge and experience in core banking applications.

  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Tosca, UFT) is a plus.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced level).

  • Experience with cloud-based banking solutions and digital transformation projects.

  • Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Full work rights to work in Australia, located in Sydney and ready to commence with a short notice
