The Role:

Our Copywriter will play an essential role in the strategy, conception, design, and execution of campaigns for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including PopSockets.com , retail in-store, and digital marketing/paid advertising. They bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user.

More than a marketing copywriter, we seek a storyteller who is able to translate PopSockets personality into succinct and authentic copy that builds the brand, communicates features and benefits and drives our goal to become a beloved lifestyle brand. The ideal candidate knows best practices for marketing copy, but is eager to push the boundaries to articulate and deliver our unique brand voice.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates a range of powerful, viable brand concepts and copy for each project
  • Partners with studio team and graphic designers to ensure the copy direction and visual presentation work together to make the storytelling powerful and compelling
  • Builds and evolves copy guidelines, refines PopSockets’ voice across channels
  • Works cross functionally on briefs, campaign development and copy optimization

Requirements:

  • A robust portfolio of work demonstrating high-quality copywriting, storytelling, and concepting experience through advertising campaigns and digital content
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • A pulse on what’s happening in the world—from fashion to news to tech to social media trends
  • Strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across media
  • Strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution

$70,000 – $75,000 a year
