Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator. This role is responsible for supporting project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring healthcare projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams, track project deliverables, and facilitate communication across departments to drive project success.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and documentation.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalating concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for project-related costs.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies throughout project execution.
  • Support change management initiatives related to project implementation.
  • Maintain project dashboards and generate reports for management review.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI best practices).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Project Management (CAPM, PMP, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, with familiarity in HIPAA compliance and clinic administration

Software Proficiencies

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana)
  • Healthcare management systems (ECW is a plus)
  • Data analysis tools (Power BI is a plus)
