Job Description

This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting the company’s reporting requirements. The role is primarily focused on Business Intelligence (BI), emphasizing data lakes/warehousing, query writing, query performance tuning, and data integration. Proficiency in SSRS and Power BI is essential. The reports include transactional reports that tie back to the ledgers, financial reporting, and dashboards. Additionally, this individual will need to become very familiar with our ERP programs to review output for validation. The role also requires expertise in master data management, BI tools, data profiling, and data security.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources
  • Participate with other specialist to convert legacy reports (primarily GP and SAP B1) to Solver BI solutions.
  • Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team
  • Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
  • Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports
  • Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision
  • Working with key stake holders to make sure deliverables are on clear and concise.

Education/Experience Required

  • 3+ years experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, Including using a Data Warehouse platform.
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business (Accounting) and/or Information Systems degree
  • Experience with a ERP software implementations
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve success within a consulting environment

Computer Skills Necessary

  • Data Warehouse Technology like Power BI, Solver, Tableau or Qlik
  • Crystal Reports, SSRS, or similar reporting tools
  • Microsoft SQL Server Query Analysis
  • Microsoft Office Applications

Physical Demands/Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting, frequent use of computers, and regular communication. Must possess strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

  • Working in high-energy office environment with several ongoing projects.
