Job Description
Sycamore Reserve Senior Living Community is seeking an experienced and dynamic Independent Senior Living Executive Director to lead our community and provide exceptional service to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors, a proven track record in senior living or hospitality management, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, resident services, financial management, and community engagement to ensure a vibrant, supportive, and safe living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Inspire and lead a dedicated team of staff, fostering a culture of excellence in resident care and service.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Resident Services and Satisfaction:
- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
- Maintain open lines of communication with residents and their families to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring adherence to financial goals and reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that the community operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
- Community Relations:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, referral sources, and local stakeholders.
- Represent the community at industry events and within the broader community to enhance visibility and foster partnerships.
- Strategic Planning:
- Implement the company’s vision and strategic initiatives to promote growth and improve service offerings.
- Identify opportunities for the development of new services or enhancements to existing programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Gerontology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living management or a related field, with at least 3 years in an executive leadership role.
- Strong understanding of regulations governing senior living communities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
- Passion for working with seniors and a deep commitment to enhancing their quality of life.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
