Job Description
This role carries overall accountability for Hong Kong revenue with strong focus on providing excellent customer service to our trade partners. The Sales Operations Manager will be working closely with the Sales Manager in building and managing relationships with agents and acting as an Account Manager for selected accounts. Significant part of the role will involve understanding local market trends and customer behaviors impacting distribution and provide hands-on support for key partners.
In Addition To This, The Main Responsibilities Include
- Overall responsibility for building, maintaining and improving Finnair’s sales, marketing & distribution activities in the local market
- Account management and representation of Finnair during trade events, actively supporting Sales Manager in product trainings and briefings
- Act as main point of contact to trade partners, providing excellent support and customer care
- Continuous monitoring of market trends, observe competitor activity, and reports on findings
- Responsible for creation and distribution of trade memos and newsletters
- Responsible for taking an active role in the Finnair’s irregularity situation, service recovery, and claim management in the local operations
Our Expectations
- Good teamwork, communication and project management skills
- GDS knowledge, experience in Ticketing and Reservation matters
- Independent and active support of sales team on corporate, leisure and groups segments to enable first class customer service
- Positive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Willing to learn new systems to complete admin tasks
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
This is a hybrid role of operational support and account management. Being a flat, cross-functional organization, we are looking for someone with positive approach and “can do” attitude. We wish you have a minimum 5 years of work experience in sales and/or operational roles as well as a proven track record with references. Former experience with airlines and/or travel industry, particularly in Groups and Tour Operators segment is seen as an advantage.
The employee must have all the legal rights to reside and work in Hong Kong as Finnair will not arrange any work permit and/or visa.
