Key Responsibilities
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality). Records results and prepare simple technical reports. Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment. Provides advanced programming, training, and operation of measurement and test equipment. Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data. Participates in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results. Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.

Measurement Science – Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, “Metrology” e.g. Chemical, Dimensional, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical and Radiation and Physical.
Quality Process Management – Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure quality of products, processes and services.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Qualifications
Key Role Responsibilities-
- Handling of BIS Issues/Improvements/Queries reported on CPG Gensets and products reported from various Export customers.
- Lead analysis of issues with internal Plant team / Supplier to initiate root cause analysis, S3 and S6 actions on reported issue
- Coordinate with export customers to understand the issue, share acknowledgement, update actions on various customer complaints, improvements and other queries
- Drive Regular customer connect meetings for Critical Customers
- Drive Weekly BIS meetings and Gemba at plant with CFT, track and close all issues.
- Keep live tracking update for all issues and status. Share update on actions with respective customers
- Drive Failed part reimport and FOC shipments as and when required. Maintain live tracker for the same
- Lead Supplier and Engineering issues for coordination and closure
- Drive Proactive process and product audits on weekly basis
- Corrective action closure through EQMS / CQMS.
Required Skills & Competencies –
- Strong knowledge in assembly processes, various systems & internal processes
- Effective communication and interactions with internal Stakeholders and customer handling
- Knowledge of Quality systems and QC tools
- Knowledge of Problem Solving Tools
- Knowledge of Cummins safety standards
- Leadership quality while handling team of internal/ External stakeholders
