Job Description
The ideal candidate must be sales-driven, commercially-savvy and take accountability for all operational activity ensuring the delivery of expected services, revenue and margin targets within the Transactional business. ?
This person ensures the delivery of budgeted GP and operational excellence. This sales leader builds strong personal and sustainable long-term partnerships with key decision makers within client organisations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: ?
- Understand, implement and oversee the Transactional sales strategy and operating model ?
- Provides strong leadership and development to the regional Transactional team?
- Overall responsibility for the implementation and launch of new transactional business and the ongoing growth, profitability and operations?
- Translating the Transactional strategy into well-defined market plans to meet the regional objectives?
- Develop a clear understanding of clients’ objectives/challenges and offer solutions that meet those objectives?
- Support the implementation of new Transactional business wins?
- Setting the budgets for the coming year and executing the annual, medium-term and long-terms plans for the business area.?
- Owning P&L for the business line and driving cost optimisation?
- Responsibility for the operations of the business; setting and ensuring standards of excellence and driving customer satisfaction.?
- Planning, building and nurturing the infrastructure, resources, leadership and process for delivery of the annual P&L?
- Manage Transactional team across multiple locations, whilst defining a robust operational model for a regionally-based team.?
- Talent acquisition, nurturing, mentoring & retention of staff?
- Accountability for Risk and Compliance in the region.?

- Demonstrated regional sales leadership experience?
- Deep Promotional industry experience?
- High energy, highly motivated individual with excellent team management, interpersonal and communication skills?
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sales skills and a strong industry knowledge?
- Confident to manage large meetings, client presentations and pitches?
- Strong proposal writing and presenting skills?
- Able to problem solve and innovate with client satisfaction at the forefront at all times ?
- Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships across a broad selection of functions, and levels?
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment where managing expectations is critical?
- Previous experience of developing client relationships at a senior level. ?
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences. ?
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs. ?
- Previous experience of service delivery, sales and growth. ?
- Able to solve problems and escalate with potential solutions where necessary through correct channels to ensure seamless client experience. ?
- Experience of P&L and exposure of developing, implementing and delivering change, plans and strategies. ?
- Travel – the candidate will need to travel across the region to meet staff and clients. ?
- Sales – we expect the candidate to lead sales discussions with client directly and have the ability to win new business?
- Experience of making prompt and practical business decisions, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes. ?
