Job Purpose

The position is that of a content manager is primarily responsible for leading all digital content creation efforts for websites, e-commerce, social media, e-mail and performance marketing. This position is expected to provide creative direction and strategic planning to aid in achieving performance metrics of marketing efforts while executing the content calendar in line with overall business objectives.

Business Responsibility Areas

  • Develop content strategies that align with brand’s voice and objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of content across various platforms, through in-house teams or with marketing communication agencies.
  • Ensure SEO best practices and latest trends are adhered to.

Business Objectives

  • Content creation for website
  • Product and brand images, banners, videos, infographics etc.
  • Content to drive natural search traffic using SEO inputs in collaboration with Brand Manager
  • Content creation for e-mail marketing and performance marketing
  • Product, service marketing e-mailers, engagement e-mailers across the funnel with focus on E-commerce
  • Performance marketing creatives in all formats for all platforms
  • Content for social media

Developing social media content with help of competitive research, platform capabilities and brand messaging

  • Contribute to the success metrics of digital marketing efforts

Qualifications

Essential

Masters in mass communication or Masters in graphic design

Hands on experience with graphic design tools

Working knowledge of UX and UI design preferred

Previous Experience

8 years experience in marketing content creation for digital assets
