Position Summary
Reporting directly to Asst. Manager – FP&A Database and Systems, the Analyst – FP&A Database and Systems is responsible for developing and maintaining of IT System and databases. Collaborating with cross-functional teams within FP&A to ensure seamless data management, contribute to refining financial planning processes, and leading adoption of new IT-related processes and tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
Overall Job Responsibilities
- Partner with various business units in the planning and execution of annual property-wide budgets.
- Provide analytic reports in measuring performance indicators, highlighting trends, and comparing against standards and benchmarks
- Execute regular ad-hoc analyses and presentations requested by the Board of Directors and other top leaders.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate production of the daily President’s Report (P&L statement).
- Perform month-end reconciliation reports and investigate variances against audited data.
- Analyze and review capital requisitions against budget and existing company policies.
- Create market research reports to measure the company’s financial and operational metrics against local and foreign industry peers.
- Review internal reporting processes and implement enhancements or upgrades.
- Provide professional knowledge and technical support within the team and other departments.
Note: Subject to evaluation and change depending on the need of the department and resort operations.
Requirements
Experience Required
- Atleast 1 -2 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Key Competencies & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Proven experience in program and database development, and IT systems management is an advantage
- Strong interest in database management systems (eg., SQL), financial reporting tools, and new technologies and methods
- Good communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
