Depot Construction

  • Providing inputs for preparation of Estimate for individual project.
  • Monitor daily construction activity.
  • Review of Drawings, QAP’s and other technical documents.
  • Approve and witness all project quality test as per approved drawings and QAP’s at depot site.
  • Endorse contractor bills based on job executed.
  • Project review meetings with consultant and contractors.
  • Participate in review meetings with HO.
  • Ensure construction as per approved drawing & QAP and if any deviation take necessary approval from Project manager and Head Project.
  • Coordinate with Contractors, Vendors & HO team for timely completion and delivery of various activities based on project schedule.
  • Timely start and completion of construction.
  • Ensure compliance to safety practices and standards for safety during construction.

Project Commissioning & Close Out

  • Coordinate with S&D and other stake holders for timely commissioning and hand over of project.

MIS

  • Appraise project manager and Head Infrastructure regarding progress of projects

Process development and competency enhancement

  • Update various processes for infrastructure site team functioning.
  • Enhance the competency and knowledge base of team.

Team building

  • Ensuring required interaction, exposure and trainings to team.

Boundary Management

  • Coordination with Railways, PESO, District Magistrate, and Pollution control board and other external agencies for site inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe & timely completion of project within the budgeted cost also by ensuring quality.
  • Team building motivation & retention for Infrastructure team
  • Co-ordination with execution contractor for sequencing of job

Qualifications

Graduation in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
