- Installation of Cameras into vehicles.
- Installation of tracking device into vehicle
- Installation of two-way radios into vehicles.
- Basic repairs of tracking devices and diagnosis of auto-electrical problems.
- Ability to conduct current draw tests and provide technical solutions to problems encountered.
Qualifications
Matric/ NQFL4 in Electrical Engineering/Auto Electrical Engineering
- Experience needed:
- 2 / 3 Years’ experience in Fleet management and tracking industry
- Computer Literate
- Auto Electrical background or experience
- Product knowledge on Fleet management and tracking products
Knowledge And Skills
- Good knowledge of motor vehicle electric/electronic and alarm/immobilizer systems.
- Installation of Fleet Management units
- Repair of SVR and Fleet Management products
- Proven Customer Service track record
- Good administration skills for correct Job Card completion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizing ability
- Attention to detail
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability
- High levels of integrity
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer Literate
- Auto electrical skills
Special Requirements
- Good understanding of specialized Fleet Management system fitments
- Knowledge of yellow equipment vehicles
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear criminal record is essential.
