CAD Engineer

The Role

What You’ll Do

AutoCAD Drafting & Design

• Create and modify detailed schematics and drawings for low-voltage security systems.
• Develop precise layouts, wiring diagrams, and integration plans based on project specifications.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, building codes, and project requirements.

Technical Documentation & Project Coordination

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to refine system designs.
• Maintain accurate records, revisions, and as-built drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in creating technical documentation and submittals to support project execution.

Software & System Integration

• Utilize AutoCAD and BIM software to design and optimize security systems.
• Ensure seamless integration with other construction and engineering tools.
• Troubleshoot design challenges and develop scalable, efficient solutions.

Ideal Profile

What You Bring

• Proven experience in AutoCAD design for electronic security, low-voltage, or structured cabling systems.
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarms, and intercom systems.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, sales teams, and project managers.
