About Cooperative And Cooperation With The Poor Organization (CCPO)

Cooperative and Cooperation with the Poor Organization (CCPO) is a National NGO, which is registered, with the Ministry of Economy and our main office is located in Afghanistan. CCPO is non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, and non-profitable. Its charity and National Organization was established in February 2022 to provide, Agricultural, educational, women empowerment, conducting awareness programs for women, and social & Humanitarian Assistance to needy people of Afghanistan. In addition, special emphasis will be on Humanitarian Assistance, capacity building, community development, and the alleviation of poverty.

Responsibilities

The Procurement & Logistics Officer is reportable to the Provincial Manager. The following are the main responsibilities of the Procurement & Logistics Officer:

  • To maintain Purchase Request Tracking sheet and update status of each Purchase with every single change during procurement process.
  • Patronize Procurement Department filing system. Ensure all documentation complete, available and is properly filed.
  • Activating the monthly procurement report in order to show total number and estimated value of PR received, total PR closed or still open during reporting period.
  • Always be organized and prepared to submit an updated PR tracking sheet to your supervisor.
  • On delivery of assets, ensure that the assets are registered and procedures are filled out with required information properly.
  • Organize/consolidate regular procurement reports according to agreed formats and procedures.
  • Prepare procurement checklists for monitoring contracts. Receive, review, and certify vendor invoices and submit to the Finance Department for payment.
  • Follow up payments with Finance Department
  • Prepare bimonthly procurement projects and cash needs. Control and maintain the confidentiality of information.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors and companies;
  • Ensure all procurement records of activities undertaken by the procurement department are managed and filed effectively.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in business administration or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar field and level of responsibility
  • Demonstrated experience with projects operating in insecure and difficult environments
  • Excellent team coordination, organizational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills will be an added value
  • Capacity to work professionally and autonomously
  • Strong analytical, coordination and reporting skills
  • Capacity to prioritize and to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluency in Afghanistan’s official languages (Pashto, Dari & Uzbek) are required
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to travel to other provinces
  • Organize all the inventory list of the organization
