Currently, we are seeking a skilled Painter to join our client, a network of nursing homes in Connecticut.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our client’s team. The Painter will be responsible for traveling to multiple nursing home facilities in Connecticut to paint and touch up various areas within the buildings. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and homely atmosphere for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to multiple nursing home facilities within Connecticut to perform painting and touch-up tasks.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, patching, and sanding as needed.
• Apply paint and other finishes to a high standard, ensuring a professional and attractive appearance.
• Select appropriate paint and materials for each project, taking into consideration factors such as color, texture, and durability.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on painting equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with facility managers and staff to schedule painting projects with minimal disruption to residents and daily operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter in a professional or commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations within Connecticut.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
