We are looking for a
General Manager (m/f/d) Mexico
based in Mexico City for the next possible starting date
Your mission:
- Lead the maintenance and expansion of our presence in the Mexican market.
- Drive strategic and operational initiatives to capitalize on the significant growth potential of this key market.
- Develop existing client relationships and actively pursue new expansion opportunities.
- Lead, support, and develop our team in Mexico to drive growth collaboratively.
- Craft and oversee the creation of compelling RFPs to attract and secure new clients.
- Lead the team in our Mexico City office, fostering their development in both hard and soft skills.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts to attract top candidates, ensuring the company’s continued growth and achievement of targets.
- Provide transparent and insightful monthly reports to the board on progress and strategies.
- Manage business units within allocated budgets to optimize resources and maximize profitability.
- Oversee the profit and loss of all business unit operations to align with company expectations and ensure sustained success in the Mexican market.
- Build strong relationships to enhance team confidence and collectively deliver on our clients’ KPIs.
Your qualification:
- With a leadership background in the airline/travel industry, you possess a strong blend of sales and marketing skills.
- You are a natural business developer, passionate about service excellence and business growth, and always go the extra mile to achieve your targets.
- Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, you effectively motivate and inspire colleagues, articulating a compelling vision for AVIAREPS.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment with flat hierarchies, open-door policies, and dynamic teams.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages, such as Spanish, is highly advantageous.
- You have a proven track record in sales, marketing, and leadership within the airline or travel trade industry (e.g., tour operators, corporate travel, luxury consolidators).
- You embrace digital innovation and adapt easily to change, leveraging technology to drive organizational progress.
- You currently hold a leadership role, ideally in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, and are looking for your next career step.
- As a strong communicator, you have an extensive business network in aviation, tourism, and the travel trade industry.
- You have a background in travel/tourism, hospitality, aviation business, economics, or a related field.
- You are a people person who enjoys building and nurturing professional relationships.
