As a Junior Accountant at Aklamio, you are an essential part of our finance team. You will independently manage various areas, support establishing and optimizing processes, and think outside the box to contribute to our growth and further business success. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join and support our remote team, either on a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) basis.

Activities

What You’ll Do

• Management of accounts receivable and serving as the point of contact for efficient invoicing
• Overseeing the invoicing process, from creating invoices to monitoring open items, including handling dunning procedures and management of receivables.
• Reconciliation and clarification of accounts with suppliers or partners.
• Supporting accounts payable management.
• Supporting with tasks related to annual financial statements and audits.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• You have completed vocational training or a degree with a focus on accounting.
• You bring knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and ideally also of VAT (USt).
• You have gained initial professional experience in accounting; practical bookkeeping skills are an advantage.
• You are diligent, and reliable, and work independently and in a structured manner.
• You have good user knowledge of Excel – experience in handling large data sets is a plus.
• You have strong communication skills in German and English.
