Job Description

Essential Job Functions May Include

  • Collaborate with the executive team to create an IT strategy that will meet or exceed business objectives
  • Create and maintain a department budget for hardware, software, wireless plans
  • Develop and deliver a hiring plan to onboard and develop associates in IT Support
  • Provide leadership and management of the Helpdesk to ensure the business software, hardware and offices get the support required
  • Create and maintain monthly reports tracking key performance indicates and operational metrics for the department
  • Act as the point of contact for the business regarding all hardware, software and office support requests
  • Create and deliver technical communications to the business in easily understood language
  • Develop and maintain Onboarding, Training and Offboarding activities are delivering to the business expectations
  • Manage resources across multiple states ensuring critical business offices are staffed with IT Support resources
  • Create and maintain vendor relationships including contracts and licensing agreements
  • Manage the contractor onboarding and offboarding process for the company
  • Oversee office and end user hardware and software including selection and implementation of new technology
  • Collaborate closely with Associate Resources, Cybersecurity and Legal departments
  • Create purchase requisitions and collaborate with the Procurement organization to ensure hardware and software needs are delivered in a timely manner
  • Identify and implement improvements to the IT Support onboarding and training processes

Job Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or better in a related field or equivalent IT work experience preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in IT
  • 5+ years of management experience overseeing multiple teams preferred
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and development with a preference in IT
  • Familiar with managing multiple projects spanning different functional areas
  • Ability to direct research with IT Projects and products
  • Comfortable speaking to all levels of the business
  • Leadership experience
  • Telecommunication industry experience desirable
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills
  • Dependability, adaptability, flexibility and creativity
  • Ability to understand complex issues
  • Professional attitude
