Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Analyst I will provision and deprovision access as well as be responsible for identifying and initial triage of security events. The individual will work with multiple technology platforms, interface with business partners in the organization along with third parties. The Analyst will enhance and implement cybersecurity processes and technology as applicable. The Cybersecurity Analyst should have experience in some of the following cybersecurity domains: Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management, and Security Operations.
This is a remote position, but the candidate must live within a commutable distance from the office in Tulsa, OK.
Key Accountabilities
- Identity and access management (IAM) activities which includes account provisioning/deprovisioning
- Scheduling and conducting periodic access reviews
- Seek out and assess potential security issues and solutions where applicable
- Identify, document, and develop process improvements within Cybersecurity.
- Support internal and external audits by gathering and/or coordinating deliverables
- Assist in developing security requirements using a risk-based approach
- Works in conjunction with other areas of IT to deliver secure and cost-effective solutions
- Partners with stakeholders to encourage the adoption of security-compatible software/hardware designs and best practices
- Understand security standards and regulations such as NIST, CSF, TSA-SD
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Intermediate level understanding of computer security concepts including but not limited to IAM, Application Security, and Incident Management
- Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Entra
- Knowledge of tools and products used in day-to-day cybersecurity operations (e.g. EDR, SIEM, AD)
Other Qualifications Preferred
- 1+ Years in a Cybersecurity environment with emphasis on security operations and/or a Bachelors in IT, MIS, CIS
- Familiar with Operational Technology (OT) & regulations such as TSA-SD
- Security+, SANS or other Cybersecurity certifications
- Working knowledge of and experience in oil & gas, energy, or other critical infrastructure
