As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will be at the heart of our company’s expansion efforts, playing a vital role in identifying and evaluating potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities. You will conduct in-depth financial analysis, create detailed valuation models, and help shape high-impact strategic decisions that drive our company forward.
This is more than just a numbers role – you’ll be collaborating closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution. Whether it’s assessing the financial health of a target company, conducting market research to identify trends, or supporting negotiations, your insights will directly influence our company’s future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial models, including DCF, NPV, and other valuation methodologies, to assess acquisition opportunities
- Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators to evaluate risks and opportunities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Manage the end-to-end transaction process, from due diligence to valuation and integration planning
- Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Support corporate strategy initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
- Present complex financial data and insights to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Experience & Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a related field with an M&A focus
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques for both music and non-music assets
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a strategic mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, both independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
