Estimation Engineer

Purpose of this role is a primary ELV technical solution crafter for clients in ARC.

Job Responsibilities

• Translates customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to create the lowest achievable cost estimate
• Records all assumptions, exclusions, and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal
• Reviews the scope clearly and Prepare highly professional technical and commercial proposals suitable economically and technically
• Keep finding out new vendors/principles in the market of ELV industry and use them on our proposals
• Assists the sales team in understanding and assessing customer’s requirements
• Selects the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall business objectives
• Supports Project Managers, when requested, in the calculation of costs and sell prices for project Change Orders
• Completes all proposal work completed according to the employer’s professional standards which includes technical scope, commercial estimates, deliverables, schedules and terms and conditions and other variables to meet customer requests and expectations
• Design jobs for the purpose of providing sales estimates which consist value engineering, design development to a level that will enable robust product, labor and sub-contractor estimation
• Ensure use of most current standard library of designs to keep the cost of delivery as low as possible
• Document assumptions, exclusions, and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal
• Manage client POC initiatives
• Involve in appropriate resources and setup and delivery of POC, Submittals and Design drawings

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer engineering preferably IT/Electronics and Communication

Experience

• 5 – 10 years’ relevant experience in the IT industry

Certifications

• Should be MCC certified and Sira Certified

Knowledge & Skills

• Broad knowledge integrated with strong ELV technology Structured cabling, SMATV, Access Control, Intercom system,CCTV,IPTV,GRMS,Lighting control , Public Address & Audio Visual
• Must have the ability to multi task and produce desired results in a deadline driven environment
• Should be willing to travel if required within ME region to meet customers to clarify the proposals and engineering
• Willing to learn new subjects and involve in assisting the team to complete any given task
• Team player
• Good analytical skills and consulting capabilities
• Driving License, a must
