We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our database systems and ensure the seamless operation of business-critical applications.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily database management, performance monitoring, backup oversight, and data migration while also contributing to various IT projects within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of applications, including performance monitoring, backup verification, and system maintenance.
- Manage data migration processes, specifically from DB2 to Oracle.
- Identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions, ensuring prompt resolution of database-related issues.
- Perform program updates, bug fixes, and validate changes before deployment to production.
- Participate in banking and IT projects, ensuring database integrity and reliability.
- Document new processes and implementations for future reference and compliance.
