Market Controller

We are looking for a talented Market Controller who will be responsible to support Cluster Business Controller or Senior Business Controller of BU with business control tasks in Local Finance Business Partner responsibility or responsibility limited to part of a larger organization or Product (group).

Please note that the position is based in Lahore, Pakistan.

In this role, you will report to the Finance Director Pakistan.

What you will do

1. Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations to senior management

2. Perform variance analysis (Sales, cost, margin) at a detailed level (eg. Product, Customer) and drive or recommend corrective actions

3. Prepare business cases for pricing strategy and investments and follow up benefit realization.

4. Support the annual financial planning and forecasting process for the respective functions and monitor deviations.

5. Act as a business partner to the sales and marketing teams, providing accurate and timely financial analysis for key commercial initiatives.

6. Maintain and develop financial models for ad-hoc simulations to support decision making.

7. Coach, advise or train Business Control staff and if needed, stakeholders

8. Ensure compliance with commercial policies, internal controls and reporting framework and secure related approval flows.

Profile description:

We believe you have

• CA/ACCA Qualified or MBA in Finance.
• 03-05 years of Business Control experience in a similar role.
• Expert in analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, SAP FICO module, RPA, Advance Microsoft Excel, BOFC)
• Local and international stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver good decision making while working with a diverse set of stakeholders and senior management individuals.
