Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our remote team. The primary focus of this role is handling inbound sales inquiries, converting leads into customers, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is driven, confident, and has experience in telesales or customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries, providing accurate information about our waste management services.
  • Convert inbound leads into paying customers by understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions.
  • Maintain a well-organized customer database using CRM software.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to optimize the customer journey.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inbound sales, telesales, or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • High proficiency with online tools and CRM software
  • Familiarity with the waste management industry is a plus but not essential

Technical Requirements

  • Personal computer (minimum 8GB RAM, no older than 2 years, sufficient storage for work applications)
  • Professional-grade headset with microphone
  • Dedicated fibre/high-speed internet connection (minimum 10Mbps, uncapped)
  • UPS/Power backup solution for load shedding periods
  • Quiet home office workspace
  • Functional webcam
  • Ability to participate in video interviews and role-play scenarios
