Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to ascertain their procurement requirements.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify suitable suppliers and vendors, facilitating the purchasing process accordingly.
  • Foster and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure productive partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain robust payables and purchase order processes, effectively communicating any modifications across the organization.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and align them with operational necessities.
  • Analyze data to create comprehensive reports on expenditures and savings.
  • Coordinate the implementation plans for new initiatives.
  • Train new staff on the purchase order system and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Supervise the Accounts Payable department to guarantee timely and accurate task completion.
  • Evaluate agreements in the context of mergers and acquisitions, consolidating contracts where applicable.
  • Manage contracts, including legal reviews, negotiations, and renewal schedules.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing procurement and purchase order processes.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable procedures.
  • Strong teamwork orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and efficient work ethic.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Procurify is preferred.
  • Experience in International Payments is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study is required.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated procurement experience.
