- Design and Engineering:
- Develop detailed designs and drawings for storage tanks, pressure vessels, and process equipment
- Perform engineering calculations for stress, pressure, volume, and thermal expansion using applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API, and ISO standards).
- Select appropriate materials based on application, operating conditions, and client specifications.
- Conduct structural, thermal, analysis .
- Analyze failure modes and implement design modifications to enhance durability and safety.
- Evaluate nozzle reinforcements, shell thickness, and support structures.
- Ensure all designs comply with international and local standards, including ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, and relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare documentation and certifications for regulatory approvals.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Oversee welding procedures, material specifications, and quality control measures.
- Address technical challenges during the manufacturing process.
- Develop inspection and testing plans (ITPs) for tanks and vessels, including hydrostatic and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Conduct failure investigations and provide repair recommendations for damaged or corroded equipment.
- Support periodic maintenance to ensure longevity and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Evaluate vendor proposals for equipment and services.
