Job Overview
We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team at A L Paper House. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production and delivery of our handmade paper and paper products. This is a full-time position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Qualifications And Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the paper or textile industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Understanding of export procedures and documentation.
- Experience in the handmade paper or paper products industry is a plus.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure timely production and delivery of orders.
- Manage the entire merchandising process, from sourcing raw materials to final product delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for procurement.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and timely execution of orders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Prepare reports and present findings to the management team.
