Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Manager for our headquarters in Hyderabad. The role is full-time and demands a seasoned professional with a background in Pharmaceutical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing. The ideal candidate will drive process optimization and efficiency improvements in our API operations, employing their expertise to implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance.

Qualifications And Skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification, showcasing expertise in process improvement methodologies (Mandatory skill).
• Keen ability in yield improvement techniques to maximize production efficiency and reduce waste (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient in process optimization, with a proven track record of enhancing business processes (Mandatory skill).
• Strong project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Expertise in data analysis, drawing insightful conclusions to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Experience with agile methodologies to promote flexible and responsive operations management.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills to manage and resolve issues effectively within teams and departments.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational excellence initiatives in the pharmaceutical API sector to achieve set performance and efficiency targets.
• Analyze existing API manufacturing processes and implement changes aimed at yield improvement and waste reduction.
• Develop and execute strategies for process optimization across various departments within the organization, specifically focusing on the API operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Facilitate training and development programs to instill best practices in operational excellence among employees.
• Utilize data analysis tools to assess process performance, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative and efficient practices in API production.
• Monitor and report on the impact of implemented changes to senior management, making adjustments as needed.
