The College of General Education provides a range of core courses common to all students of the University, in subject areas that support the academic structure of the undergraduate programs. The General Education Curriculum is designed around courses in mathematics, natural sciences, research methods, English communication, social sciences, humanities and the arts, aimed at developing students’ understanding of fundamental scientific concepts and their applications.
The College of General Education invites applications for a faculty position as a Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Chemistry starting in August 2025. Candidates holding a Master’s or a PhD qualification are invited to apply.

Responsibilities
Your Commitment
The Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Chemistry will focus on delivering high-quality teaching in the College of General Education curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment to support all academic programs of UDST. The role involves teaching undergraduate first-year courses, curriculum development, and supporting students’ academic progress. Courses include but are not limited to, General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry, Health Sciences Chemistry, and advanced Chemistry courses to support new programs within the institution and the College.
