Healthcare Strategist (m/f/d)

Job Description

The opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious, articulate and enthusiastic Healthcare Strategist (m/f/d) to join our thriving and welcoming team in Munich.

You’ll report into our Healthcare Strategy Director in London, whilst also collaborating with other strategists in Munich and London and around our international network.

Each day will be different: one day might be all desk research on the diagnostics market to find groundbreaking insights, and the next might be working with the creative team to finesse a campaign idea.

Iris Worldwide partner with some of the world’s leading organizations to build Participation brands. We work for a range of exciting healthcare clients, such as Roche Diagnostics and Alcon, along with other B2B as well as BtoC accounts like B/S/H, Adobe, Siemens, Osram, fritz-kola and Samsung.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in English is essential – both spoken and written. Conversational German is helpful.
  • Someone with 3 years’ experience of marketing/advertising agencies, with demonstrable healthcare experience e.g. medical devices, medical technologies, public health, pharmaceuticals or digital health.
  • A science degree is preferred, such as biology, biomedical sciences, genetics or public health.
  • You should be insatiably curious and enthusiastic and be both entrepreneurial and rigorous in your approach. We’re looking for someone passionate about people, the healthcare industry and business.
  • We’re looking for a team player who can collaborate closely with creative teams, project managers and your account management colleagues.
  • You need to know how to translate insights from the market and competitors, cultural trends as well as new technologies into creative briefs.
  • We expect you to bring forward-thinking ideas proactively to the team, share best practices and best-case examples that you think we can learn from.
  • You’ll need to develop engaging presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to clients to optimize their marketing strategies; we’re looking for a confident and charismatic speaker and storyteller.
