Risk Analyst, eBay iCBT BMO

Location: Shanghai, People’s Square

About Our Team

The eBay iCBT Business Management and Operation team is responsible for taking care of eBay platform policy design, operation and GC&SEA&Hipo&INSEA&JP cross-border seller management, based on in-depth analytical technology. Risk Analyst will be responsible in analytics, reporting, research and documentation related tasks.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Support the entire eBay iCBT region markets including China Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, etc.
• Perform data investigation and data analysis requests using SQL/R/Python/Excel
• Carry out an end-to-end strategic program of your choice, discovering real problems and provide real solutions
• Maintain database and generate daily tracking reports on eBay seller performance metrics
• Document policies and processes to ensure easy reference for policy managers and cross-functional stakeholders
• Other ad-hoc tasks involving SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Job Requirement

The desired qualities of the candidate should include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics / Economics / Business / Computer Science or other technology related fields
• Proactive, responsive, willing to learn and attentive to details
• Proficiency in SQL/Excel Pivot table, familiar with database knowledge and basic operation in R
• Tableau skills and intermediate statistical modelling knowledge using R/Python are recommended
• Good speaking, reading and writing capabilities both in English & Chinese (Mandarin)
