In our unique educational setting, students attend classes four days a week, immersing themselves in a rigorous academic curriculum while embracing the values of discipline, integrity, and excellence. As a School Nurse at Vanguard, you’ll work alongside our team of educators to support students in navigating the challenges they may encounter both inside and outside the classroom.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Guiding students and staff through ensuring proper safety protocols are be implemented, offering compassionate support and guidance every step of the way.
• Providing crisis intervention services to students in need, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritized at all times.
• Providing health services to VCS students.
• Assisting students with conflict resolution and anger management techniques, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment for all.
• Helping students develop appropriate social interaction skills, equipping them with the tools they need to build meaningful relationships and thrive in a diverse society.
• Assisting students in understanding and accepting themselves and others, fostering a culture of empathy, inclusivity, and understanding within our school community.

Please bring appropriate documentation with you to your New Hire Orientation. Federal Law states that the Charter School may not permit you to work more than three days without this documentation.
