Lightfire Printing is seeking an Embroidery Specialist Helper to join our dedicated and growing team! This is a physically engaging role that will involve working closely with skilled embroidery specialists to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll spend most of your day on your feet, bending, lifting, and assisting with various production tasks.
In addition to production work, you will also assist with customer service tasks, as we sell on platforms like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, and other platforms. Accuracy in processing orders and providing excellent customer service is key in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Embroidery Production: Assist in setting up and operating embroidery machines, including threading, loading designs, digitizing, and monitoring machine progress.
- Material Prep: Prepare fabrics, threads, and backings for embroidery production.
- Post-Production Support: Help with loading and unloading finished items, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Perform final checks on products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Finishing Touches: Trim threads and complete final adjustments to finished embroidered items.
- Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing materials, tools, and machinery.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries and assist customers on platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Etsy to ensure order accuracy and resolve any concerns.
- Inventory Management: Assist with tracking supplies and keeping stock levels in check.
- Machine Maintenance: Support basic machine troubleshooting and perform routine maintenance to keep embroidery machines in good working order.
- Additional Tasks: Be flexible and assist in other tasks as required to support production.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and ensure high-quality output.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, especially in responding to customer inquiries across multiple platforms (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and other platforms).
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary to meet platform deadlines.
