We are in search of an accomplished Vice President of Silicon Operations to spearhead the comprehensive supply chain management for our diverse silicon product line, including Endpoint ICs and Reader ICs. This pivotal role encompasses oversight of the entire production lifecycle—from wafer procurement through to post-processing, warehousing, and final shipments. You will be responsible for ensuring product quantity, quality, and cost efficiency, while delivering unparalleled service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the supply chain operations for all silicon products, overseeing the complete journey from wafer procurement to the delivery of finished goods.
  • Formulate and implement a rolling 5-year supply chain strategy that adapts to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to establish accurate demand forecasts across varying timeframes.
  • Ensure that the wafer supply strategy aligns with both operational and financial objectives.
  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers to facilitate the conversion of wafers into finished products, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, including contracting, negotiations, and global supplier management.
  • Oversee manufacturing and logistics operations to ensure optimal efficiency and scalability.
  • Continuously monitor, report, and enhance supply chain performance metrics.
  • Administer both capital and operational budgets to maintain adequate supply levels.
  • Lead and nurture a team capable of supporting rapid business growth.

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership capacity within a global organization.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards or experience in regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost reduction initiatives, on-time delivery, and sustainability practices.
  • Proven experience negotiating large-scale, multi-year contracts with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • A successful track record in scaling both personnel and processes within organizations.
