Job Description

We’re looking for a Virtual Assistant to represent one of our esteemed medical clients in Australia. In this role, you’ll be the friendly and professional first point of contact for patients, ensuring seamless appointment scheduling, accurate account updates, and smooth day-to-day operations for specific doctors.?

You must be a resident of Sri Lanka to be eligible for this role.

Requirements:

  • Be the Voice of Care: Take calls from patients, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Manage doctors’ booking schedules and maintain accurate patient records and accounts.
  • Ensure Timeliness: Notify providers of patient arrivals, monitor schedules, and send reminders for missed or overdue appointments.
  • Handle Communication: Respond to emails and faxes, and forward inquiries to the relevant doctors or departments.
  • Support Clinical Operations: Check referral and pathology portals to attach reports to patient records.
  • Perfect the Details: Proofread letters for grammar, spelling, and address accuracy.
  • Safeguard Privacy: Uphold patient confidentiality, ensuring all medical, personal, and financial information is protected.
  • Maintain Accuracy: Update patient accounts, process payments, and manage third-party claims if required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Location: You must reside in Sri Lanka.
  • Language Proficiency: High fluency in English (both spoken and written).
  • Tech Savvy: Quick to learn new software (client-provided training available).
  • Punctuality: Extremely reliable and deadline-focused.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working during Australian Standard Hours.
  • Attention to Detail: A stickler for accuracy and organization
