Job Title: Cleaner

Salary: £12,428 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time

Hours: 20 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 19:00PM to 23:00PM

Location: Defence TFM, Nova South, 6/7th Floor,160 Victoria Street, London, Greater London, England, SW1E 5LB

The role involves a range of cleaning and maintenance duties, including emptying waste bins and transporting waste material to designated collection points. Other responsibilities include sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops, mopping floors with wet or damp mops, vacuuming carpeted areas, and steaming hard floors. The position also requires dusting, damp wiping, or polishing furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves, and fittings. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for replenishing consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels, as well as cleaning appliances like fridges, microwaves, and coffee machines. The role includes performing any ad hoc cleaning duties as directed by the Manager, as well as additional tasks upon request.

The cleaning schedule is flexible, with both daily office cleaning and deep cleaning duties, which range from workstations to restrooms. The candidate will also handle commercial carpet cleaning and maintenance, ensuring thorough disinfection and sanitisation throughout the premises. Waste management, removal, and disposal are key aspects of the job, as well as providing janitorial services and maintaining washroom hygiene.
