Position Summary

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and all equipment.

Essential Functions

• Ensures the proper operation of mechanical and electrical systems for the facility and its grounds.
• Ensures the proper operation of all manufacturing equipment.
• Regularly communicates with plant management regarding the status of the facility’s/grounds’ systems and the operational condition of manufacturing equipment.
• Advises plant management regarding any potential safety issues in the facility or within its grounds.
• Performs any regular or preventative maintenance on equipment which cannot be performed by the operator.
• Performs any mechanical or electrical repair needed for the facility, grounds, or equipment.
• Performs any other duties, as required, to assist the company in achieving its goals and objectives.

PERSONAL POSITION ATTRIBUTES:

Must be a self motivator and team participant. Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, over long, and often odd hours. Ability to interact with all personnel at all levels.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. and vocational/technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in facility/equipment maintenance with good understanding of equipment mechanics and electricity.
• Also, able to read blue prints and have experience with PLC’s.
