We are in search of a proactive Vice President of Silicon Operations to spearhead the complete supply chain for our silicon products, including Endpoint ICs and Reader ICs. This executive role encompasses the entire production life cycle—from wafer sourcing and post-processing to warehousing and delivery to clients. You will assume full accountability for product quantity, quality, and cost while driving the enhancement of our operations amid persistent growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive supply chain for all silicon products, ensuring a seamless flow from wafer procurement to customer delivery.
  • Formulate, sustain, and implement a forward-looking 5-year rolling supply chain strategy.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Management to create accurate demand forecasts across various time horizons.
  • Ensure alignment of wafer supply strategies with financial objectives and supply goals.
  • Manage and broaden our network of contract manufacturers to transform wafers into finished products.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest quality standards and achieving financial and operational objectives.
  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, encompassing contract negotiations and relationship management with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners globally.
  • Supervise manufacturing and logistics operations to guarantee efficient and cost-effective processes.
  • Develop and monitor key supply chain performance metrics, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Manage capital and operational budgets to optimize supply chain efficacy.
  • Foster and nurture the team to support our rapid expansion.

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, including 5-7 years in a leadership role within a global organization.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards or experience in regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost efficiency, timely delivery, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Effective negotiation skills with a background in managing large-scale, multi-year contracts.
  • Proven aptitude for leading and scaling teams, processes, and operations in fast-paced environments.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base pay: \(190,000-\)305,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Additional rewards may include merit increases, annual bonuses, and stock options based on individual performance.
