Position Overview

As a Software Engineer at Webtize Technologies, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative solutions tailored to clients’ unique business needs. You will collaborate closely with managers, stakeholders, and sometimes directly with customers to design, develop, and maintain software that empowers retailers and wholesalers. This role offers flexibility in the choice of tools and technologies, allowing you to solve complex problems with the most efficient approach.

This is a full time role with an annual salary at $100,000 plus superannuation and will be based in Bella Vista in NSW.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with managers and clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and develop custom software solutions using a variety of technologies, including but not limited to Typescript (Vue.js), Golang, SQL, PHP (Laravel Framework), and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Build and deploy desktop applications using Golang to meet specific client needs.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various services, including AWS Lambda functions, using GitHub Actions and CloudFormation.

Customize and integrate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems like ERPLY with platforms such as Magento2, Xero and Zoho Analytics.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Work closely with other developers to deliver solutions on time and within scope.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

At least 3 years experience utilising multiple programming languages, including Typescript, Golang, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

At least 3 years experience with frameworks such as Vue.js and Laravel.

At least 3 years experience in building CI/CD pipelines and working with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

Strong understanding of POS systems, retail/wholesale operations, and data analytics integrations.

Ability to work flexibly, choosing the right technology to solve each problem effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
