Job Description
- This position will oversee the coordination and sustainability of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the site level, ensuring that all processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- The role will focus on driving continuous improvements and excellence at the site
Key Tasks & Respnsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the QMS at the site, ensuring that all systems and processes align with global quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on quality management practices, providing guidance on process improvements and ensuring best practices are implemented across the site.
- Work closely with the Site Leadership Team, Implementation Task Force, and other stakeholders to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and optimizing production processes.
- Develop and review key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality management, ensuring the site tracks and drives improvements in manufacturing performance. Use these metrics to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure change management protocols are followed when implementing process changes, including the monitoring of the Change Management System (MOC) to update technical documentation and ensure compliance.
- Work with field and plant mission teams to foster working tools and work instructions with a strength in quality assurance
- Oversee audits related to product quality, working with seed production management and the Global Quality & Compliance teams to ensure products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Investigations into quality deviations and collaborate with the production team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Organize and conduct quality management training sessions for site employees to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain high quality standards.
- Lead and manage QMS-related innovation and optimization projects, ensuring documentation is updated, technical support is provided, and KPIs are monitored throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Represent the site in global quality studies and forums, sharing and implementing best practices to improve quality management processes across multiple.

Qualifications & Competencies
- Minimum BSc in industrial engineering, agriculture, finance or related field
- Degree in Industrial, mechanical or chemical engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing and or seed agricultural industry
- Experience in leading and developing teams Skilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teams
- Demonstration of courage, Candor and initiative skills Coaching / mentoring group facilitation skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral – open, honest and persistent)
- Deliver results in a changing environment
- Problem solving skills
