Method is seeking a Scrum Master, who can collaborate with Product Strategists, Designers, and Developers to implement technology solutions to a client’s problem. Timeline, budget, and expectations must be balanced to create an environment for the team to succeed. Scrum masters are expected to instill accountability without management authority and must possess the necessary skills to inspire cross functional teams.

Travel for team and client meetings is required, typically up to 15%.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Spread an agile mindset in the team
  • Coach the team including the Product Owner in agile values, principles, and practices
  • Clear impediments of your team and ensure risk logs are maintained
  • Care for your team to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of work
  • Support team building activities to establish a positive team culture
  • Take care of your team’s compliance with the development process
  • Closely cooperate with the PO and network with stakeholders
  • Lead requirements refinement sessions and manage the backlog

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience as a Scrum Master (at least 3 years) in a consulting or agency environment
  • Experience in Agile methods such as Scrum, SAFE, and Kanban (with JIRA Agile)
  • Experience with facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Planning Sessions, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives), Backlog Refinement, and User Story Workshops
  • Solids skills in organizing, planning, and communicating
  • Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. Knowledge about methodologies other than Agile-Scrum, so that you can explain other methodologies and tailor process to project needs
  • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand his team’s needs.
  • Very good English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with the projects in a regulated environment (medical, automotive, aerospace) would be a great advantage
  • SAFE certifications are a plus
