Sustainability – Engagement Lead

The Sustainability and Engagement Lead is responsible for developing and delivering strategies and policies that address a wide range of sustainability topics, including biodiversity, water conservation, waste management, recycling, and education. This role oversees the implementation of impactful programs, collaborates with key departments such as HR and Learning & Development (L&D), and leads social and charity initiatives. Additionally, the role involves creating engagement materials in partnership with L&D and Marketing teams to foster a culture of sustainability and social responsibility across the organisation.

What will you be doing?

• Sustainability Strategy and Policy Development: Design and implement strategies and policies to address core sustainability areas, including biodiversity, waste management, recycling, water conservation, and education.
• Program Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of sustainability programs, ensuring they align with organisational goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Charity and Social Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the organisation’s charity and social responsibility strategy in partnership with HR and L&D
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the L&D and Marketing teams to create impactful engagement materials and campaigns that promote sustainability and social initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with sustainability objectives and broader corporate values.
• Education and Awareness: Develop educational programs and resources to build awareness and drive participation in sustainability initiatives among employees and stakeholders.
• Reporting and Measurement: Track the progress of sustainability programs, using data and metrics to evaluate their impact and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Experience in marketing, communications or L&D (desirable)
