Description

The Creative Marketing Specialist will produce designs on brand and with high visual impact in support of the organization’s strategic marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives, to help drive revenue. Designs include graphics, website, photography and more. Required execution of all initiatives includes managing a complex series of steps to be implemented in a timely manner, within budget and on brand while meeting regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Uses knowledge of design software to produce graphic art, visual materials and videos for promotions for a variety of outlets including the website, email, print, digital and social media. Creates promotional displays, marketing collateral, presentations, events, corporate reports and retail merchandising. Designs logos for products and business needs. Develops signs and environmental graphics. Selects colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout. Selects the size and arrangement of the different elements. Employs color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing project. Creates designs that engage, attract and sell. Contributes to the launch of new products, services, partnerships, and branding efforts. Ensures all work is accurate and compliant.
  • Manages and maintains Climb website and any microsite content and graphics, including images, banners, video, enhancements, navigation, changes, updates, third-party extensions, etc. Continually enhances website by designing functionality to increase user experience. Ensures website effectiveness including quality standards, SEO, accessibility, and the accuracy of information including rates. Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, reviews and reports on website key performance indicators. Leverages strong understanding of user behaviors and lifecycles, derived from research and data, to guide analysis of results. Keeps up-to-date on trends and technological advances in the field and able to identify areas of use within the organization.
  • Manages print production and trafficking of all files. Manages relationships with website, signage, printer, ad, and other third-party partners, vendors, and agencies. Obtains at least three quotes from printers.
  • Manages Marketing Advocate program and Branch Marketing Store to help support merchandising in Climb branches. Trains advocates on their responsibilities and serves as main contact for questions and support. Responsible for taking and editing employee’s professional headshots.
  • Manages ordering and tracking inventory of print collateral, corporate wear, premiums, event giveaways, and more. Supports events by ensuring event display accurately represents the Climb brand.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience.
  • (1) A bachelor’s degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
  • Must have excellent design skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Premiere Pro. Tech-savvy skills necessary for the website and digital marketing. Demonstrate excellence in verbal and communication skills. Strong organization and project management skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, as well as other departments and vendors, in a collaborative environment. Creativity; ability to think out of the box and drive change. Superior attention to detail with an ability to prioritize/handle multiple tasks. Must be able to successfully coordinate multiple components of a project to meet deadlines. Must be self-motivated and show initiative in problem solving. Financial industry experience preferred.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting annual pay of $62,000.00, depending on experience, education and qualifications.
