Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mentor Experience: Design and execute a dynamic mentor program aimed at professional development, growth, and satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and academic institutions to enhance the mentor experience.
  • Expand Development Programs: Innovate and implement learning programs tailored for young adults, addressing program needs while supporting mentors’ educational and career aspirations.
  • Assess Regional Needs: Engage with program managers and mentors nationwide to identify regional needs and resources, utilizing insights to enhance local programming and recruitment efforts.
  • Drive Alumni Engagement: Formulate and implement a strategy for alumni engagement that promotes connection, collaboration, and career progression.
  • Share and Inspire: Assist in the promotion of our initiatives through social media and events, showcasing the accomplishments of mentors and alumni.
  • Live Our Mission: Demonstrate our commitment to health and wellness in every facet of your work.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Youth Development, Education, Public Health, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in youth development, program design, education, alumni engagement, or workforce development.
  • Proven track record in designing impactful learning experiences for young adults.
  • Experience in mentoring or supervising teens, university students, or staff.
  • Familiarity with educational systems.
  • Success in establishing sustainable partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Established professional connections within health, education, or related sectors.
  • Strong commitment to addressing health disparities.
  • Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration, coupled with cultural competence in diverse communities.
  • Growth mindset with a dedication to professional development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Canva and social media is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
