Job Description

We are seeking a VP Product to lead our product team, driving innovation and aligning our product strategy with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, a strong background in product management within relevant industries, and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering, design, and go-to-market (GTM) teams. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to delivering impactful products that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, hire and inspire a diverse team of product managers, designers, and technical writers.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that promotes accountability, creativity, and results.
  • Develop and mentor team members to achieve their professional growth and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Product Strategy and Execution:

  • Own building and delivering a long-term roadmap across multiple product areas, collaborating with relevant teams (engineering, sales and marketing) and delivering it
  • Communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams: field teams, engineering and prospects and customers.
  • Continually be involved in the company’s go to market activity being able to react quickly to changes in adjust the product accordingly

Collaboration with Field Teams:

  • Lead by example by taking an active role in working tightly with customer success and sales to close business
  • Encourage a culture of sharing with the field teams to make sure they always have the training they need and the latest on new capabilities

Operational Excellence:

  • Build processes and frameworks to drive efficiency, scalability, and transparency across product operations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong record of delivering impactful products.
  • 4+ years of experience managing and scaling product teams in high-growth environments.
  • Big advantage: Hands-on experience in at least one of the following industries: Identity and Access Management, SaaS Security, Data Security or SaaS Management.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Business Acumen:

  • Deep understanding of GTM processes, with a track record of working with field teams to close new business and upsell existing customers.
  • Experience being involved hands on in the sales process

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
