Responsibilities
The Instructional Designer and Instructor will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality instructional materials and training programs. This role combines expertise in instructional design with hands-on teaching to ensure that learners achieve their educational goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong understanding of instructional design principles, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
Deliver training programs for in-person settings.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult learning.
Conduct needs assessments to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Evaluate and revise instructional materials based on feedback and performance data.
Requirements
Full Scope Poly
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as an instructional designer and instructor.
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and educational technologies.
Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
